Why Dinner?

The older I get, the more I value meaningful conversations and relationships.  It's easy to go throughout our days, weeks and eventually years working our jobs, raising our kids, building our businesses, doing many good things and leaving little time for the most important things in life.  I remember so well my Grandfather admonishing that "we bring nothing into the world, and we will take nothing out." People are our greatest commodity. If we don't take time to build up and encourage those we are around and those we come into contact with, what do we really have? I've never heard anyone on their death bed wishing for more "stuff." I love gems in the rough. I love seeing the potential in people, who they really are and the greatness that may be hidden inside.
